Coaching Staff

Coach Santana is in his third year at the helm with the Vikings. He returns to Par-Hills, having played there in the late 80's, with a strong background in instruction. He served as the head coach at Rockaway Valley School in Boonton Township and then moved on to Mountain Lakes High School as their Freshman coach. He graduated to a Varsity Assistant position at Watchung Hills Regional High School working side-by-side with current Bernards head coach, Jeff Falzarano. Coach Santana returned to Mountain Lakes High School as their Varsity Coach in 2003 leading the Lakers to three of their most successful season during his tenure. In the Fall of 2005 Coach Santana realized his dream when he was appointed Varsity Coach at his alma mater Parsippany Hills. Coach Santana has been entrenched in Parsippany baseball for over 25 years as a player, coach, umpire and board member of the Par-Troy West Little League. In the summer of 1992 Coach Santana led the Par-Troy West Senior League All-Stars to a District Title, their first in more than 10 years. His team lost to eventual State Champion West Milford in the Sectional Finals that year. Many of the players on that team went on to win a State Sectional Title for Par-Hills in 1996.

Coach Sierchio also played at Par-Hills during the late 80's. He has been an assistant with Coach Santana since 2003 at Mountain Lakes High School. After graduating from Parsippany Hills, Coach Sierchio went on to play at NJIT in Newark where he started as a Freshman. Coach Sierchio specializes in infield defense and coaches 1st base for the Vikings.

Coach "Bart" played his high school career in South Jersey and moved on to be a four year starter at Rowan University. He continued his career playing professionally in the Frontier League. Coach Bart is a teacher in the Wharton School system and has been an assistant for Coach Santana since 2003 at Mountain Lakes High School. Coach Bart specializes in outfield defense, hitting and baserunning.

Coach Anzelone joined the Vikings Staff this season as a volunteer specializing in outfield defense and 1st base defense. Coach Anzelone enjoyed an outstanding career at Vernon High School before moving on to The College of New Jersey where he continued to make an impact. He finished his career at TCNJ in the Spring of 2007 with his team finishing ranked in the top 3 nationally in 2 of his 4 years there. Additionally, he won a Division 3 College World Series Championship while playing for TCNJ. Coach Anzelone also works with the Viking hitters when not working on their outfield defense.

Coach "Dots" played his high school baseball at Hanover Park High School, but we won't hold that against him. Coach Dots has been a member of the Vikings staff for the last 7 years as the JV Coach. He specializes in outfield defense and pitches a great round of batting practice. Coach Dots is also the Head Coach for our Wrestling Team.
